Whilst showing them round the royal orthopaedic hospital in London Sir Robert meets a medical student he recognises as a former patient –
his name was Harry Platt."

 

"Later, Sir Harry Platt, through his mentor Robert Jones, was appointed surgeon in charge of the military orthopaedic centre in Manchester and then later became the First Professor of Orthopaedics in Manchester in 1939"
